I found the one thing that makes any wedding stand out for me is the wedding invitations.

Why? Because the fancier, the prettier or the more outstanding your card is, the more I would remember the wedding date and as such more likely I would attend. I know for me, the moment I get an invitation card, I not only would see who it was from but also how the card looks. If it is pretty and lovely, it stays on my desk, if not, I would just jot down the date in my calendar and the card would be somewhere in my drawer.

Me and my friends decided that the best bridal shower gift to get for a bride-to-be friend would be a selection of some sexy lingeries, perhaps some nice French chemises, babydoll nighties, teddies or even bustiers. Our friend is a very shy girl and we believe it is our responsibility (lol) to set her on the right path with regards to her wedding night. And you know what, she turned absolutely red when we presented her with the gift and refuses to accept it much less use it. After much coaxing though, she said she would try it out and get used to the idea of wearing it before the wedding. Here’s hoping for that miracle

What’s most important on a wedding day? I’m sure we ladies all say..”The Bride.. it’s the Bride”. And I agree with that one hundred percent. Then of course comes the “secondary” (lolz) issues like the groom, the ring, the reception, the flowers, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen.

Once all is said and done, the wedding comes and goes, what’s left, is of course, the memories and the gratitude to everyone that made it happened. Now comes the “Thank you’s” and what better way to say it with a little tokens for everyone involved. Among all the gifts to find, the most challenging I think, would probably be the groomsmen gift or any men’s gift for that matter, simply because it’s always easier to find any form of gifts for ladies.

I personally like the idea of giving someone a gift that can be used all the time. The best gift I got as a bridesmaid was a bracelet that I still used till today. It was a nice momento of my best friend’s wedding and I always smile when I remember that day.

So remember to always put careful thought to the “thank you” gifts you select. After all it was the best day of your life right?
