I think I have dropped enough hints to hubby these past few weeks through our conversations and through my other blog (yes he does read it..yey!) that I needed that long overdue vacation because today I saw his web browser opened to a website that offers packages and cheap flights. He has not said anything yet so the suspense is really killing me..lolz..

The page was opened to packages to Indonesia so my guess would probably be Bali. Oh, that would be awesome because I really loved Bali. My last trip there was so great that I told myself I would return. Such beautiful beaches, sunset, shopping and don’t forget the best massage I ever had anywhere.

I just love watching the tv series Las Vegas and CSI. While Las Vegas offers a more relaxed story line, CSI has never failed me in terms of mind boggling cases. Both shows are equally fun and entertaining.

In case you don’t know what I am talking about, Las Vegas is a tv series revolving around the characters working in a Las Vegas hotel. Each week the plot would involve what else but gambling and how the casino gamblers would find ways to cheat the house. However, we all know the house never lose.

CSI is short for criminal scene investigators or investigation. These people are the first to arrive at the crime scene and they would process all the evidence to be presented to the district attorney’s office. They analyze DNA, blood splatters pattern, bullets and at one time alien abduction!

Just what on earth why would anyone need a portable oxygen concentrator? That was my first question when I stumbled at this site. I then got my answer from the FAQ page.

After my fibroid surgery, a friend told me that the doctor would probably prescribed me with some hormone pills to get me pregnant and because of that I would probably get twins or even triplets. That is just fine by me. Approaching forty, I need all the help I can get and if I can push it to three at one go, why not? Get it over and done with right. Then close down the factory …lolzzz…

One thing I hate about renting a house is the household features that the owners thrust upon its tenant. One thing that has become a pet peeve for me for me is the kitchen. Some owners are nice enough to provide kitchen cabinets while others just assume we put our pots and pans on the floor!

However, what really irks me is the kitchen sink. Most of them would select the very basic single bowl sink which is very shallow, then they would provide the faucet that is too long that makes washing pots and pans nearly impossible so much so that I have to wash them in the bathroom. I’m not asking for a nice Hansgrohe faucet, but a realistic one will do. Most of time, hubbs got to buy a shorter one to accommodate my requirements.

I mean, is it too much to want to make your tenant feel comfortable in a house that they would call home for a duration of time. I don’t think so and if I ever become a landlord myself, there would be no complaints in that department. Just make sure you pay your rental on time.

Everyone know the importance of good posture, be it for health or beauty purposes.

Just what is a Technical Wife, you may ask. Well it simply means that being a wife to a computer hardware guy like my hubby is, I am expected to know what is an ethernet switch, an ethernet card, a Cat 5 cable, RJ45, face plates, patch panel and media converters. Wow that was a mouthful!

It also means, I have to keep up to speed with terminology like SATA, IDE, PCI cards etc, etc, coz otherwise I would not understand half of what he’s saying and I don’t want to be excluded from any conversation or to be appear stupid when I open my mouth. Call it vanity, call it “kiasu”.. call it ME!

Anyway, they do say the way to a man’s heart is through his mind right or was it through is tummy?? I’m confused!!

Part of being a woman that I love so much is when I get to organize parties and events. I’m a control freak and I will gladly admit it. I remember when I was getting married, I refuse to let anyone handle anything. Although being a bride was hard enough with all the fittings, the trial makeup and hairdo, I was still running around selecting souvenirs for the guest, sourcing out caterers and even invitation cards.

It’s been a while since I’ve been involved with any planning. The last being my SIL’s wedding five years ago. That is why I volunteer my services to a friend of mine who is getting ready to do her first communion invitations. She has tonnes of other things to do so I figured I helped her out with this aspect of the event and who knows I may even get to dabble with other things as well.. Oohhh fun!!

I don’t know about you but I’ve always been the “keeping accounts” kind of girl. Ever since I can remember I’ve always jot down my expenses for the day. Be it a $1 expenditure.! It’s not that I am cheap or anything, I just like to know where my money went and when everything is tallied and every cent accounted for, I sleep easy knowing that my life is in control. Yeah, I’m funny that way! Lolzz!!

Now, with technology, the task of check and balance has been made so easy that there is really no excuse not to do it. With personal finance and budgeting software readily available and all at reasonable prices, I can rest easy knowing that not only my accounts are in order but that I am keeping to my budget yearly minus the little extravagances sometimes… hey I’m only woman…lolz!

One of my favorite past time is looking at show houses. I just love to see how interior designer decorate the home space and how divide areas to form nice cozy corners. And off course to appreciate show houses, you have to appreciate the house and the floor plans and who wouldn’t appreciate a house like the one from Branson homes for sale.
