When I am a Landlord…

One thing I hate about renting a house is the household features that the owners thrust upon its tenant. One thing that has become a pet peeve for me for me is the kitchen. Some owners are nice enough to provide kitchen cabinets while others just assume we put our pots and pans on the floor!

However, what really irks me is the kitchen sink. Most of them would select the very basic single bowl sink which is very shallow, then they would provide the faucet that is too long that makes washing pots and pans nearly impossible so much so that I have to wash them in the bathroom. I’m not asking for a nice Hansgrohe faucet, but a realistic one will do. Most of time, hubbs got to buy a shorter one to accommodate my requirements.

I mean, is it too much to want to make your tenant feel comfortable in a house that they would call home for a duration of time. I don’t think so and if I ever become a landlord myself, there would be no complaints in that department. Just make sure you pay your rental on time.

House Hunting

One of my favorite past time is looking at show houses. I just love to see how interior designer decorate the home space and how divide areas to form nice cozy corners. And off course to appreciate show houses, you have to appreciate the house and the floor plans and who wouldn’t appreciate a house like the one from Branson homes for sale.

So if you are looking for a nice place to move to, retire or just a second home, check out your options here ok!

Real Estate Chat

Speaking of dream homes, let me stress on how important it is to find a good real estate agent. A good agent would pay attention to your needs and your wants while a bad one will only be concerned about their commission.

Take it from someone who had an extremely bad experience before, it ain’t fun. In fact your dream home might turn out to be your nightmare home. Some of these agents are very new in the line but the way they portrayed themselves is like they have been in the industry for ages simply because that is how they are trained. Then when posed with certain unusual circumstances, they freak out and disappear leaving us with an exclusive contract that we can’t get out of and stuck with them for three months without any action.

So moral of the story, get a real estate agent from word of mouth, someone that is recommended by friends or someone you trust. Alternatively get one from reputable company that has a long standing record of success.

Home With A Picket Fence

I believe it is every women’s dream to own a house with a white picket fence, or at least every girl’s romantic dream that is. Just like finding her prince charming that would sweep her off her feet and they both ride off towards the sunset kind of thing. Hehe.. I guess it’s this romantic month that is bringing all this up.. sigh…

Anyway, back to that dream house, Wilmington real estate has a featured properties that simply caught my eye coz it is so beautiful. Although it does not have a picket fence right now, that could easily be installed later on.

Look at it. Ain’t it quaint! You should check out the interior. The kitchen is too die for. Really awesome and beautiful.

Oh well.. it remains a dream for now but hopefully it would soon be a reality.

Making Up Car

I may be a woman but I enjoy looking at nice cars. Now you many wonder why I say this. Well – because to a lot of women, a car is only a mode of transportation, getting them from point A to point B.

To be honest, I was one of those women hence, the oh so experienced statement, but all that changed as I watched more and more “hot-rod” show with hubby and started to appreciate the finer “art” of making a car beautiful and how difficult it is to get the proper body shop supplies for their artwork so much so that most of the times they have to make it themselves.

I know making up car is expensive and a lot of people here find alternative ways or cut-cost by just going to any mechanic and getting it done but I believe if you got to do, do it right the first time. Do it at a reputable mechanic who knows what he is talking about and please don’t just cut the suspension spring coz you want your car “lowered”. It ain’t worthit if you have to keep going at an angle at every road bump you encountered.
