Azwaj just browsing at Mudahdotcom and he saw this fantastic car for sale. He showed it to me and I fell in love with it immediately. I’ve always wanted a cute little car like this to call my own. I can imagine driving this beauty back to Singapore with the top down with the wind in my face. OMG !! (no worries about breakdown coz I’ll be sure to get even a rv towing service if need be)

Guess what, I even teased Azwaj to get it for me.. lol!! I mean what’s not to love. It’s a convertible for goodness sake. It’s is also an automatic, which I love! and it’s only RM27,000.  I mean I’m sure we can get financing right?

I’ve never been to a music store before in my life. But that all changed when I married a musician. Not only do I tag along whenever Azwaj goes to music store, I actually enjoy looking at all the different electric and acoustic guitars, amplifiers and even the electric drum set. I was taking so many photographs that the owner actually asked me what it was for. When I told him it was for my blog, he relaxed and said as long as I’m not a competitor he’s ok with it.. lol.

They say a messy desk is a busy desk and vice versa but well so not true in my case coz even though my desk is clean (I even kept my desk name plates), I am still drowning in work. I’m trying to keep it easy this long weekend but I am still working on a spreadsheet for my US client that has a ASAP deadline. I am also planning a trip back to Singapore on the 3rd so am trying to finish the Valentine’s Day promotion before then.

We’ve finished spring cleaning the study, moved some furniture and even changed the function of some items to make it function as another. Now it’s time to spring clean the store.. OMG! I can already feel my back breaking. Not a task I like but it has to be done.. I’m sure we’ll find something that we lost or something that we bought but have not used yet. Maybe we’ll even find a
blu ray home theatre system in there.. lol!

Oh well.. time to get started!

If before we saw how to save from lightings and cooking, let’s look at how you can save when you use the Air-conditioners on this segment of How to Save On Your Electricity Bill.

1. If you must an air-conditioner, consider switching on the air-conditioner about 30minutes before bed. Turn it off and switch to a fan after that
2. Avoid using appliances that expel heat in an air-conditioned rooms
3. Consider putting dividers or partitions so that you cool a smaller, more targeted space. The larger the space that needs to be cooled, the more energy is expended to cool it.

1. Boil water only when needed. Do not boil more than you need
2. Adjust the thermostat in the refrigerator to the recommended setting. Overcooling your refrigerator wastes electricity
3. Switch off the refrigerator when cleaning it to save electricity
4. Do not leave the refrigerator door open longer than necessary. Decided what you want before opening the refrigerator

Energy Efficient Light Bulbs

I just received our power bill and although it is not that much, I am looking at areas where I think I can save. Here are some tips that I got from the power service in Singapore on how to save from lighting.

1. As well as making the best possible use of natural light, use energy saving light bulbs. These may cost more, but they use far less electricity than normal bulbs thereby saving money in the long run
2. Use lighter colors in areas where you want to be bright as lighter colors reflect light
3. Use light dimmers whenever possible…

My Unifi is down yet again. This time they say that it might have something to do with the access point here at my condo because they’ve been receiving calls from people residing here as well. This is definitely frustrating as now Azwaj is not able to go online and I am using my prepaid RM8 a day package.

If only I was filthy rich and have plenty of gold bullion to spare, I would so sign up for all the internet package around. That way I always have backup when one goes down..lol!

My work area is so messy right now with wires everywhere. Wires from my mouse, wires for my phone while it is charging. wires from the USB hub and wires from my headphones. I guess I can go out and buy those wireless versions of all but seeing how I actually dropped my mouse plenty of times and actually spoiling one wireless one sometime back, I don’t think it’s a good idea to get that one. Perhaps I should consider a cordless headphones instead. That way I don’t have to be stuck in front of my pc while watching my Boldie episodes..
