My New Awesome Dutch Oven Pot

I don’t cook that much when I do, I like to use something pretty to do my cooking in. haha.. so seeing how my existing pot really needed replacing, I told Azwaj, it was time to do some shopping. Here’s what we bought. I got one of those non-stick Maxim range and we got it from Carrefour and it cost RM97.00 only. Nice eh?

Anyway, it came with a little booklet on how to care for non-stick cookware so I thought I share some tips with you as well.

  1. Before the first use, Wash, Rinse and Dry cookware thoroughtly. Then condition by wiping surface with cooking oil
  2. Only use wooden, nylon or rubber utensils
  3. Clean using only soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaner and scouring pads
  4. Remember to always use low to medium heat for cooking. For the short time needed to final stir frying, using high heat should not affect your non-stick. It is the persistent use of hight heat that causes staining and damage
  5. For longer life span, allow cookware to cool before washing.

Cheerio…

Good informative tips about cookware maintenance. It is always good to choose stainless steel types of cookware because the material is durable and easy to clean.
