Red Alert!

I just got this in my email and since this is Breast Cancer month, I thought it was only appropriate that I post it here. I’m not sure how true or not this is but better save than sorry eh..

Bottled water in your car…..very dangerous, woman!!!!

This is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer. She was on the Ellen show and said this same exact thing. This has been identified as the most common cause of the high levels in breast cancer, especially in Australia .

A friend whose mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The Doctor told her: women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.

The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car, and, pass this on to all the women in your life. This information is the kind we need to know and be aware and just might save us!!!! The heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue. Use a stainless steel Canteen or a glass bottle when you can!!!

Cheerio…

My two cent worth, I am not sure whether the plastic will cause the breast cancer, but plastic which exposed to a high temperature is very dangerous. Even when you are buying teh tarik in a plastic for tapau. The chemical composition of the plastic will change – like when you are burning plastic. That is one of many reason why my university against the usage of plastic for packaging food.

Just wish that they will banned the usage of plastic for hot drinks too. Oh, and it is true that you should not drink a bottled water exposed in the car for relatively long period of time as told in the email. I know it will cause cancer (since plastic composition and all) but do not know whether it is true it will cause breast cancer.

The safe way is to drink in glass cup or biodegradable plastic 🙂
