Your Own Recipe Software

Do you have hundreds of recipes that you keep as individual files either in your computer or as a hard copy in a notebook somewhere? Have you ever wanted to compile your recipes into a single file that is easy to track whenever you want it. Do you want those files available to you 24/7 wherever you are.

Do I have a solution for you. This is by no means a sponsored post. I just enjoy this software so much and have multiple use for it that I thought I share it with you ladies.

The software is called TreePad. It works similar to MS Notebook software only so much more and best of all it’s free. Here’s an example of what I’ve done so far..

You’ll see that I’ve had created what is known as “node” and this becomes my categories, in this case, main dishes and dessert. You can create multiple nodes and subnodes. Best thing about this software is it is so small you can even keep it in your thumbdrive and no installation needed. All you need to do is make sure you have the Treepad.exe in your thumbdrive or hard drive and your file of course, and you are set. But if you are the hard copy type, you can still print all your recipes out later.

I also use this program to keep track of all my login id and passwords, programs that I’m currently part of and even use it as a database for my VCD’s. Only one file instead of multiple notepads. Also who needs that bulky .doc file that only opens within MS Word right?

Oh by the way, you can download the file here.

Enjoy and let me how if you find the software useful and what other ways have you used it. Ok?

Cheerio…
