Useful Slimming Tips

I don’t know about you but I’ve been obsessed with my weight since that weighing machine hit the 50kilograms mark. At first I thought.. since my height is 5’3 and according to the table, my ideal weight should be 53kg, I’m still in the safe zone. However, now I’m 55kgs and I think that needle was closer to 56kgs than 55kgs. Yikes!!!

So, I’m on a mission. I’ve got these slimming tips and I’m sticking to it. Help.. I don’t want to be fat!

  1. Eat smaller meals at regular mealtimes. Try not to skip meals – that will only make you eat more afterwards. Never ever skip breakfast.
  2. Avoid snacking between meals. If you must, opt for fruits and vegetables
  3. Cut down on fried, oily, refined and processed food
  4. Go on a detox programme at least two or three times a year to rid your body of toxins
  5. Drink at least eight glasses of plain water daily to flush toxins from your systems
  6. Cut down on alcohol, coffee, tea, carbonated drinks and other stimulants
  7. Avoid large meals after 8pm. Your body is slowing down for the night and uses less energy
  8. Exercise regularly to increase your metabolic rate. Carry out more physical activities. Even simple ones help, such as using the stairs instead of the lift or taking brisk walk around the neighbourhood
